TRF Schooling Shows
About TRF schooling shows
Our schooling shows offer a choice of doing standalone dressage tests, standalone jumper rounds, or a combined test. Typically we also run a few mounted party games at the end of the day to unwind. All of the above are offered starting from leadline and going up!
Spring and Halloween shows have one show ring and judge, with jumper rounds starting after dressage finishes. The weather often is challenging at these times of year and judges have to be lined up well in advance so we schedule judges for the likelihood of only being able to use the indoor arena, and based on the weather forecast at the time of making the ride schedule and the actual weather the morning of the show we may end up using the rings in any number of configurations.
Summer shows have two show rings and judges, with jumper rounds running in the indoor starting about an hour after dressage tests start running in the outdoor, and warmup set up in a field. Extreme weather will be handled on a case by case basis, but this configuration will be followed through most weather conditions.
