Winter Homework clinic and show series

Join us for a fun low-key schooling show in a supportive environment; perfect for green riders, green horses, testing the waters for a move up, and working through show/off-property nerves.

Dress code is clinic attire OR costumes that do not obscure the judge’s view. (Helmets and appropriate footwear still required even with costumes.)

Crowd favorite clinician Lori Barnard has spoken to us about sneaking in a rare middle of show season date!

Lori is an ‘S’ dressage judge and USDF gold silver and bronze medalist who earned her medals on horses she produced herself. When she isn’t judging she’s coaching humans, training horses, and competing herself. She is well known for being extremely knowledgeable, sharp, and perceptive, while being one of the nicest and least judgmental people in the industry. She enjoys teaching riders and horses of all levels and puts everyone at ease.

We are thrilled to host Advanced eventer, two time Road To The Horse winner, two time Thoroughbred Makeover winner and one time judge, international competitor who has represented Canada in multiple sports (all involving horses), author, and popular clinician Tik Maynard this winter for the first of hopefully many times. Tik is equally well known as a natural horsemanship trainer as he is as an eventer, and loves working with riders of all disciplines to improve their groundwork and their communication with their horse. He is a truly kind, insightful, and horse psychology focused teacher, who is quick to adjust his lesson plans to meet horses and riders where they are and prioritize giving the horse a positive experience that strengthens the horse and rider’s relationship.

We will be offering both groundwork and mounted sessions, with private, semiprivate, and group options.
